Let’s Go Learn Announces Teacher of the Month Program to Shine Light on Inspiring Educators
Kensington, CA, February 26th, 2024- Let’s Go Learn (LGL) is thrilled to announce the launch of its Teacher of the Month program. This exciting launch seeks to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of amazing teachers across the country, nominated by their peers for their dedication, innovation, and positive impact on students’ lives.
“We believe teachers are the heart and soul of a thriving education system,” says Richard Capone, founder and CEO of Let’s Go Learn. “Through the ‘Teacher of the Month’ program, we aim to give these incredible individuals the recognition they deserve and inspire others by showcasing their inspiring stories and innovative practices.”
Each month, Let’s Go Learn will invite educators nationwide to nominate their outstanding peers who demonstrate exceptional teaching abilities, promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, and go the extra mile to support their students. Let’s Go Learn believes that the Teacher of the Month program will honor deserving educators and inspire others to pursue careers in education and advocate innovative teaching methods that benefit all students.
Let’s Go Learn is honored to announce Dr. Jordan B. Smith as its first Teacher of the Month! In a world where perseverance and dedication define greatness, Dr. Jordan B Smith Jr.’s story stands as a testament to the power of passion and service. Graduating from the United States Naval Academy in 1976, he embarked on a 20-year career as a Marine Corps veteran, serving his country with unwavering commitment. However, his journey did not end there. Driven by a love for education and a desire to make a difference, he transitioned into the world of teaching mathematics. For two decades, he has nurtured young minds, instilling in them the magic of numbers and the beauty of learning. His educational journey led him to pursue a Master’s in Secondary Education from UOPX, followed by a Doctorate in Educational Leadership, with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction, from the same institution. Dr. Smith’s expertise in teaching mathematics extends even further, as he earned a Master’s in Administration and a Service Credential from UOPX. His true calling lies in reaching out to those who have lost hope in learning math, inspiring them to believe in their abilities and find joy in conquering the subject.
